Ghost Fungus Original Painting

Ghost Fungus (also known as Omphalotus nidiformis) is a mushroom most known for having bioluminescent properties and glowing in the dark. It is primarily found in Australia, and most often growing in clusters on dead and dying trees.

This watercolor painting was created on a small piece stretched canvas using absorbent ground (a magical compound that makes it so that water mediums can be applied to any hard surface), highly pigmented paints, and alcoholic ink nibs. Finished with a spray sealant to ensure protection.

This extra small canvas is standing at 3" tall and 3" wide.
